| Wellsys Tackle was started in 1993 by game fishing enthusiasts Paul & Helen Wells, after moving to Brisbane from Papua New Guinea, where they had spent many years working & fishing.
As a specialized supplier our focus from the start was to develop a market with no geographical boundaries by offering to our customers a wide range of high quality products, many of which are not stocked by general tackle stores, & supported by a high level of service.
The business has experienced steady growth since establishment & relocated to new, larger premises in the heart of the fastest growing commercial area of the Sunshine Coast in April 2005 (Kawana Waters area). The Sunshine Coast is approximately an hour’s drive north of Brisbane.
